  • Geranium Essential Oil

Geranium essential oil is one of the most potent and trustworthy essential oils when it comes to fighting signs of aging. It is full of antioxidants which fight the free radicals that our skin is exposed to. These free radicals are what make our skin saggy and wrinkled, and cause the appearance of aging spots and blemishes. Geranium essential oil also has astringent qualities. This means that geranium essential oil is ideal for people with oily skin. It will make your skin look more youthful by reducing the appearance of large, open pores.

    Rosehip Oil

Rosehip Oil has a high concentration of essential fatty acids. These fatty acids work to support the skin's natural regeneration process, encouraging healthy skin cell turnover and healing for improved skin texture and plump, smooth and taut skin.  Rosehip is also naturally rich in Vitamin C. Rosehip is known for having almost 60 times the levels of Vitamin C than other citrus fruit! Vitamin C can target free radical damage and premature ageing as well as pigmentation, and promoting healthy skin cell turnover for bright and even skin tone. Vitamin A, also known as Retinol, is known for its ability to help fight those signs of ageing such as fine lines and wrinkles.  Rosehip Oil is naturally rich in Vitamin A in the form of Beta-Carotene, is easily absorbed and works as a gentle antioxidant to help brighten skin tone and help protect skin from environmental damage. Lycopene is a Carotenoid compound that is naturally found in red fruits and vegetables like Tomatoes, Beetroot, Pomegranate and Rosehip. It's an antioxidant packed with powerful benefits, working to protect the skin from environmental damage and help repair skin.

    Helichrysum (Immortelle) Essential Oil

Helichrysum one of the few essential oils that contain “diketones,” which can help reduce the appearance of age spots and discoloration. Helichrysum is touted as the perfect addition to skin care formulations for those with sensitive skin. It's so gentle that it's even recommended for children — in fact, it's often compared to chamomile because of these properties. One of the most exciting newer discoveries with this oil, however, is its anti-aging property. It's perfect for helping to make skin look more firm, youthful, and vibrant.

    Neroli Essential Oil

Neroil oil stimulates cells and aids in repairing broken capillaries. It also increases elasticity of mature skin making it excellent for wrinkles and firming sagging skin. Scars and stretch marks can also be significantly reduced with the application of Neroli infused oil blends.

Most likely due to its high antimicrobial and antioxidant characteristics, lavender essential mixed with a carrier oil (like coconut, jojoba or grapeseed oil) has profound benefits on your skin. Using lavender oil topically can help to improve a number of skin conditions, from canker sores to allergic reactions, acne and age spots. Its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties help to ease skin conditions and reverse signs of aging.

Antioxidant Protection -Free radicals, like toxins, chemicals and pollutants, are arguably the most dangerous and most common risk factor for every disease that affects us today. Free radicals are responsible for shutting down your immune system and can cause unbelievable damage to your body. The bodys natural response to free radical damage is to create antioxidant enzymes especially glutathione, catalase and superoxide dismutase (SOD) that prevent these free radicals from doing their damage. Unfortunately, your body can actually become deficient in antioxidants if the free radical burden is great enough, which has become relatively common due to poor diet and high exposure to toxins. Thankfully, lavender essential oil is a natural antioxidant that works to prevent and reverse disease. A 2013 study published in Phytomedicine found that lavender oil increased the activity of the bodys most powerful antioxidants — glutathione, catalase and SOD. And more recent studies have indicated similar results, concluding that lavender has antioxidant activity and helps to prevent or reverse oxidative stress. Carrot Seed Oil Because carrot seed oil is so high in antioxidants, it's a natural for any anti-aging skin formula. What's magical about carrot seed oil, however, is its ability to rejuvenate the look and feel of your skin. Scientists think this has something to do with the “carotol,” a primary component found in carrot seed oil. The oil also has moisturizing vitamin E and protective vitamin C, which work together to help bring new life to skin. In fact, carrot seed oil has a reputation for helping with sensitive skin and it is also this ability that makes carrot seed oil a great anti-aging ingredient. It can help firm and tone your skin while providing protection from the sun with a reported SPF of 38-40.Pomegranate Seed Oil - Benefits1Pomegranate seed oil contains a high concentration of ellagic acid. It is an antioxidant that has been shown to help prevent skin cancer as well as preventing UV damage and wrinkle formation. Ellagic acid lightens and brightens the skin, it also contains Punicic Acid - An omega 5 fatty acid present in pomegranate seeds, punicic acid reduces skin inflammation and aids in skin repair. This fatty acid protects the skin from sun damage and fends off free radicals. Pomegranate seed oil is close to 70% punicic acid. High in antioxidants, this oil helps clean up free radicals that lead to wrinkles and skin thickening. Pomegranate seed oil has a higher antioxidant activity than red wine and similar to green tea in its antioxidant levels. All skin types can benefit from this oil. It absorbs deeply into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Pomegranate oil stimulates “keratinocyte” proliferation, which promotes regeneration of the epidermis. This helps skin retain its youthful appearance by creating new skin cells. It Improves elasticity while regenerating the skin by causing keratinocytes (old skin cells) to be sloughed off more quickly. It also reduces scarring. Pomegranate seed oil contains a human compatible form of pro-estrogen which enhances skin texture in both men and women by supporting hormonal balance.
