  • A specialy formulated blend of nourishing Extracts & Essential Oils designed to assist with alleviating the topical symptoms of Eczema, Psoriasis & skin conditions

    HEMP SEED OIL

It Contains the ideal 3:1 ratio of omega 6 (linoleic acid) to omega 3 (alpha-linoleic acid) essential fatty acids for health and vigour. Has a high content of Linoleic Acid (55-60%). Is rich in Antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Is naturally Antibacterial and Antifungal. Is a Low broadband spectrum UV protectant (SPF 6).

    WHEATGERM OIL

The many benefits of this oil come from the rich supply of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids it contains, as well as vitamins A, E, B, and D and other volatile compounds and antioxidants

Applying wheat germ oil to inflamed or irritated skin has been a popular practice for generations. Due to the high levels of tocopherols (such as vitamin E) in this oil, it is able to nourish the skin and stimulate blood flow to speed healing, which can also eliminate inflammation and any swelling in the affected areas. This makes the oil an effective remedy for psoriasis, eczema, and various other common skin conditions.

    COCONUT OIL

Eczema sufferers have to almost always deal with patches of dry skin, even when there is no perceptible rash. Coconut oil is an excellent skin moisturizer that does a lot more than just provide a barrier. It gets absorbed into the skin tissue, where it works as an emollient. It softens the dry, brittle skin characteristic of eczema, preventing skin breakups that invite opportunistic bacteria. It improves the feel of rough, scaly skin and reduces irritation.

    FRANKINSENCE (Boswellia Seratta- essential oil)

Frankincense benefits include the ability to strengthen skin and improve its tone, elasticity and defense mechanisms against bacteria or blemishes. According to a review published in the Journal of Traditional and Complementary Medicine, frankincense oil reduces redness and skin irritation, while also producing a more even skin tone. Studies suggest that it’s the pentacyclic triterpene (steroid-like) structure of frankincense oil that contributes to its soothing effect on irritated skin. Contains a collossal collection of over 32 compounds called monoterpenes – powerful anti inflammatoriesthat work much like conventional pain killers.

LEMON SCENTED TEA TREE (Essential oil)

Tea Tree Essential Oil has antiseptic, anti-fungal and antibacterial properties. It helps relieve painful skin irritations and its antibacterial qualities can help prevent infection caused by scratching

Lemon tea-tree has all of the medicinal properties associated with tea-tree essential oil, yet has additional broad-range anti-fungal abilities. A study recently in by the Australian Department of Health found lemon tea-tree essential oil applied topically was extremely effective at inhibiting growth of candida albicans fungi through direct disturbance of the cell membrane.

    ROSEMARY (Essential Oil)

Rosemary essential oil helps heal and soothe eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions such as psoriasis, rosacea and rashes due to its powerful anti-inflammatory properties as well as its antibacterial properties that keep skin free from germs and other irritants that further aggravate eczema.

    LAVENDER (Essential Oils)

Lavender oil is known for its calming and relaxing properties. Due to its wide variety of uses, lavender oil may help with nearly all kinds of ailments, from pain to infections.

I am particularly fascinated by lavender oil's potential in fighting antifungal-resistant skin and nail infections. Scientists from the University of Coimbra found that lavender oil is lethal to skin-pathogenic strains known as dermatophytes, as well as various Candida species. The study, published in Journal of Medical Microbiology, found that lavender oil kills fungi by damaging their cell walls (a mechanism that I believe could apply to bacteria and viruses as well). The best part is that this oil does not cause resistance, unlike antibiotics.

    BEESWAX

Beeswax carries antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that are essential in fighting chapped skin and bacterial infections. It forms a protective wall by sealing in moisture in our skin without smothering and clogging up the pores.
